CBS/Paramount in conjunction with Perpetual Entertainment are developing an online MMO game that will encompass the Star Trek universe. Michael Okuda best known for creating the Star Trek: The Next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise LCARS or the look and feel of the interfaces on the shows, has signed on to give a new but familiar feel to the online game. Akira, Galaxy and Sovereign class starship's are among a few Federation Ship in the works. I have heard that they are considering other races in the future. This month they updated the website with a new Starfleet logo reflecting the online game and you can sign-up for updates to the game via email. Here is the web address www.startrekonline.com.
