Zack Snyder's 300 conquered the March 9 weekend box office, taking in an estimated $70 million worth of tickets during its first three days of release, the Reuters news service reported. That set a new record for a March release. Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel, 300 attracted both men and women, in part because the movie beefed up the role of Leonidas' queen (Lena Headey). As for a review: I loved this film, it was full of action, color and voice. If you haven't seen it give it a try, I enjoyed it as much as I did the Lord of the Rings films.
