Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Grainger, told interviewers that she was sure she would appear in all seven of the Harry Potter films. A spokesperson for Warner Brothers confirmed the statement, however, unlike her co-stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) she has not yet signed contracts for the last two films. Shooting on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is scheduled to begin later this year, with work on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to follow.
