Freema Agyeman Still With the Doctor

In an interview with a UK online magazine, actress Freema Agyeman denied claims that she has been fired from the revived series, Doctor Who.
The 27-year-old English actress told Metro that although she is not permitted to talk about the upcoming season, the show has given her the opportunity to defend herself against the “totally untrue” reports.
“I don't know where it came from, but I'm not getting axed,” Agyeman said. “It was quite horrible to read it. I'm not going. I'm just focusing on the fact the fans are still really enjoying it.” BBC backed up Agyeman by saying “It is absolute rubbish that Freema Agyeman has been axed or sacked from Doctor Who. However we do not comment on future storylines.”
The story about Agyeman’s supposed departure from Doctor Who was published in the British tabloid The Sun, which claimed that the actress had been fired because “show chiefs think her performance is not as strong as in her earlier episodes.”
Agyeman was brought in as a replacement to Billie Piper, who played the doctor’s companion, Rose Tyler, for the first two seasons. Prior to being cast as medical student Martha Jones on Doctor Who, Agyeman had been working at a Blockbuster Video in North London.

I just love her. She's better than Rose.
