E! Online column Watch With Kristin reported a rumor that HEROES villain Zachary Quinto is close to sealing a deal to play Spock in J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Trek movie. An anonymous source told the site that Quinto's (Sylar) contract is with the business affairs team at Paramount, which is producing the film, and only requires final signoff by a lawyer. Abrams and his team have declined to comment on casting or storylines of the top-secret Star Trek, which is widely expected to reboot the franchise. Paramount will be unveiling details about the movie at Comic-Con International in San Diego this week.
