The most recent Doctor Who Children in Need mini-episode was one of the most charming moments in Who history: an iconic meeting between David Tennant's Tenth Doctor and Peter Davison's Fifth Doctor.
But this isn't the first time a cross over between Doctors happened. In 1993 (after the series had been off the air for a couple of years) Children in need and John Nathan Turner teamed up to produce "Dimensions in Time" a story where the Doctor and compaions were pulled backwards in time. But even though the story was a mess and disappointment it was better than nothing. Any Doctor Who story at that time was.
Sadly it was the last time Jon Pertwee would be seen as the 3rd Doctor and for me, this sad disappointment was worth it just to see him one more time.
Have a look for yourself.
