Dr Who man blasts the BBC

The man who created the sonic screwdriver for the Doctor Who series has attacked the BBC for licensing toy replicas and making a fortune - without giving him a penny.Victor Pemberton thought up the gadget, when he wrote Doctor Who story Fury From The Deep in 1968.But he tells The Sun: "I thought about suing the BBC. But what's the point? So now while they make lots of cash, I get nothing." The BBC did not comment.
