RTD: Hear This. The Brig Wants to come back!

Former Doctor Who actor Nicholas Courtney would "love" to resurrect his iconic character Brigadier Alastair Lethbridge-Stewart for an appearance in the revived series. The current story 'The Sontaran Stratagem' prominently features UNIT - a fictional military organisation that the Brigadier presided over in many classic adventures between 1968 and 1989 alongside five incarnations of the Time Lord.78-year-old Courtney told Radio Times: "If the script were right, I'd love to do one story. It'd be great fun. And they've brought back Sarah [Jane Smith] - of course, Lis Sladen is still very pretty."However, the veteran actor is not optimistic that Lethbridge-Stewart will ever be seen again, despite his popularity among fans. "I don't know Russell T. [Davies] at all. Never met him," Courtney said. "Put it this way: he probably would have approached me by now if it were on the cards."
