From digitalspy.com, two episodes of the Doctor Who 2009 specials will be filmed in the United States, according to a BBC source. David Tennant is growing in popularly in America and the show receives good ratings on America’s Sci-Fi Channel.
There has been no official word from the beeb, but this could be true, the source is quoted as saying RTD will be leaving as producer after this coming year and he wants to go out with a bang, spending records amounts of money on these upcoming specials.
